Diane Cossie has managed to turn her life around in three years – repaying £25,000 worth of debt in this time by making a few simple changes in her life.
Now the 43-year-old mother of one has launched her own non-profit venture, designed to help others in a similar situation, reports the Western Mail.
Control Freak, which can be downloaded from the internet, is a "recipe for freedom from debt", according to Mrs Cossie.
She said that the programme was part of her "passion to get as many people out there as possible to see the way forward".
Mrs Cossie was able to get herself out of debt by careful budgeting and tackling one debt at a time and she now hopes that her plan will help others become debt free.
The news comes at a time when personal debt is at an all time high, with Britons owing £1.3 trillion to financial services providers.
