Ex-Happy Mondays dancer and Celebrity Big Brother winner Bez has been forced to declare himself bankrupt for the second time.

Despite winning £50,000 in the reality television show in 2005, Bez (aka Mark Berry) was declared bankrupt at London's high court at the end of March after the Inland Revenue filed a petition against him in February.

Official will now make a decision on how much he has to pay back to various creditors.

After winning the money he said: "The money's bailed me right out of trouble. I was in it like you wouldn't believe."

"Now I can just pay my bills and walk straight with no stress," he added.

Last August Bez was fined for driving without insurance after failing to turn up for an earlier hearing.

He begged for a jail sentence rather than community service in the courtroom.

Meanwhile, a bankrupt man from Teeside was given a suspended prison sentence after he spent £27,000 following a pay mishap which meant he received 100 times his normal wage.
